How it connects to Interactive Brokers

QuantumMind connects to your own IBKR account through a local IB Gateway or Trader Workstation session running on your machine. IBKR has no separate API key: the Gateway login itself is the credential. Two connections are used, on purpose: one, read-only, for prices; a second, separate connection, its own client ID, for placing orders. Nothing about your login or credentials is ever uploaded to us.

Non-custodial on Interactive Brokers

• Your own Gateway, your own machine. QuantumMind never holds your IBKR login. The Gateway session runs locally, under your control, the entire time.
• Funds stay at IBKR. Nothing is transferred to QuantumMind at any point.
• The cloud only reads. Licensing, telemetry, and your dashboard are hosted; placing trades happens only through your own local Gateway connection.

Paper or live on your IBKR account

Start in paper mode to watch the engine trade a simulated balance against live market data. When you choose to go live, the same engine places real, whole-share market orders on your account, with your safety rails active. Live trading needs the live Gateway session (not the paper port), a deliberate, explicit step so paper and live are never confused with each other.

The council and your strategy, on equities

You choose which liquid US equities to trade, and the nine-agent council votes on each one every cycle while your chosen allocation method sets the targets. One seat swaps automatically for the asset class: an equity specialist reading relative strength and trend versus the broader market takes the place of the crypto specialist's on-chain and liquidity read. The rails decide whether to be invested at all.
