Frequently asked
Questions, answered plainly.
What QuantumMind is, what it isn't, and how it keeps you in control. If something here isn't covered, email us.
The basics
What is QuantumMind?
QuantumMind is a professional crypto-trading engine you run on your own computer. It uses a nine-agent "council" to decide trades on your own exchange account, with safety rails you set and watch. We provide the engine, the access, and the information — we don't give advice or make any promise about outcomes.
Is QuantumMind a broker, an exchange, or a fund?
No. We never hold your money or your keys, we don't trade on your behalf from our servers, and we are not a broker-dealer, exchange, or investment adviser. You run the software yourself and stay in control of every decision and every dollar.
Does it promise profits or returns?
No — and we never will. QuantumMind makes no promise about profit, return, or performance. Trading digital assets carries real risk, including the loss of your entire balance. What we offer is access, information, control, and ability — the outcomes are yours.
Custody & security
Do you ever hold my crypto or my API keys?
No. Your exchange key is trade-only, stored on your own machine, and never uploaded to us. The engine places orders directly from your computer to your own account. Our servers never see your key and cannot move your money. More detail on the security page.
Then what do your servers actually do?
They hold your license and which features your plan includes, show you a dashboard view of what your engine is doing, and relay controls you choose to send back — pause, council settings, the rails. The cloud is read-only by design: no keys, no custody, no ability to trade for you.
Who designed the security model?
QuantumMind's architecture comes from a founder with 20+ years in enterprise cybersecurity and a career assessing high-assurance systems. Local keys, a read-only cloud, and layered safety rails were the starting point, not an afterthought. See the security page for the full picture.
Getting started
Do I need a crypto.com account to try it?
No. QuantumMind starts in paper mode with simulated money — no exchange account and no keys required. You only connect a real account if and when you decide to go live.
What platforms does it run on?
Windows, and macOS on both Apple Silicon (M-series) and Intel. You download the build for your machine from your dashboard once you're in the alpha.
How do I get access?
QuantumMind is in private alpha, by invitation. Request access and we'll be in touch. Once invited, you create an account, confirm your email, and download the app.
Paper, live & the engine
What is paper mode?
Paper mode runs the full engine on simulated money. You watch the council deliberate and the rails work on your live dashboard, with nothing at risk — for as long as you like.
How do I switch to live trading?
When you're ready, you connect a trade-only key to your own exchange account and switch the app to live — with your capital floor, daily-loss limit, and regime seatbelt set the way you want them. Nothing trades real money until you make that choice.
What is the "council"?
Nine independent agents — each focused on something different, from tail-risk to momentum to market microstructure — vote buy, sell, or hold every cycle. You see who voted which way and how the engine landed on its decision. No black box.
What are the safety rails?
A capital floor (a value your account won't trade below), a daily-loss breaker (a bad day ends early), a regime seatbelt (sit out choppy conditions), paper-first, and the ability to pause and take over at any moment — all visible and adjustable from your dashboard.
Plans, data & risk
What do the plans cost?
Starter is free and includes paper trading and the full dashboard. Investor is $19/mo, Strategist $49/mo, and Architect $99/mo, adding live trading, more controls, and longer data history. Every plan is access and ability — never a promise about outcomes.
What data do you store about me?
Your account and license details, and trading telemetry from your engine that powers your dashboard. How long that history is kept depends on your plan. We never store your exchange keys.
Is any of this financial advice?
No. QuantumMind is software for self-directed trading. It is not investment advice, and Quantum Mind LLC is not a broker-dealer or investment adviser. You make every decision. Trading digital assets carries significant risk, including total loss; simulated results are illustrative only and do not predict real outcomes.
Private alpha
Still curious? Try it on paper.
